Hi there and thanks for your question. I get that having to dose daily is a huge inconvenience. To the best of my knowledge the implant you speak of continues to be delayed by the FDA and may not be available for some time now. You seem surprised/disappointed to have your Methadone provider considers marijuana use a violation. I would encourage you to consider that they are subject to federal laws as well as state laws.

I'm thinking that with seven years of opiate replacement therapy that maybe it's time to be titrated down? I'm guessing that using pot is helpful to you and I'm wondering if life beyond opiate replacement therapy is something that is an option for you/something you're open to? It sounds like you'll need to make a choice between marijuana and methadone. I wish you well and encourage you to consider what other options may exist for your needs and your quality of life
