Highlights:
If you are seeking alcohol and/or drug addiction treatment for yourself, a loved one or a client, Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center can help.
Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center treats each client as an individual – with individual needs clinically, medically, and spiritually. Our alcohol and drug addiction treatment program is designed to address the needs of the whole person and set them on the path to recovery from alcohol and/or drug addiction.
Blue Ridge Mountain Recover alcohol and drug addiction rehab facility is located on 50 acres of hilly, wooded countryside in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. Our well-appointed rooms, comfortable lounge/study areas, and home-style dining offer clients an unparalleled detoxification and rehabilitation experience.
The residential program at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center is a leading treatment program designed to help those suffering from addictions and mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. Upon admission, each resident receives a complete assessment that provides your treatment team with the information needed to create the best possible treatment regimen to facilitate your recovery. As you progress through the program the treatment plan will be updated to keep in line with agreed upon goals. Clients will participate daily in many different educational and therapeutic activities such as individual therapy, group therapy, spirituality groups, 12-step meetings, and recreational activities. Once you have completed the program and are ready to continue your recovery outside of Blue Ridge we will make sure that all the appropriate tools have been put in place.
Our Detoxification Program begins with a complete evaluation of your abuse history as well as current characteristics and patterns of use. After we have a good understanding of these factors we can determine what course needs to be taken to rid your body of these toxic chemicals in the most humane manner possible. You will be placed on an empirically validated detox protocol which may include medications as deemed necessary, while receiving supervision from our Medical Director and nursing staff. There is a licensed nurse on duty 24 hour a day 7 days a week to ensure a safe detoxification from alcohol or other drugs as you go through withdrawal.
In addition to standard therapeutic approaches we use various types of non-traditional options to add to your recovery experience. These programs may include:
At Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center we recognize the importance of including family members and loved ones in your treatment. We have a family program which is provided, at no additional cost, to immediate family members and loved ones of clients healing in our residential treatment program.
We work diligently with family members and loved ones of clients at Blue Ridge so that they are able to gain insight into the disease process and how it impacts the entire family unit. Our primary goal is to help each family member become knowledgeable about chemical dependency, addiction, and mental illness. We allow each individual the opportunity to express the ways in which addiction has affected them personally by encouraging an open dialog among the family unit in our safe, moderated environment. We work to improve communication skills in the family dynamic so that each family member feels heard and understood. We will also explore the roles loved ones have played in the addiction and discuss necessary behavioral changes. We will also connect loved ones with available community resources to allow the continued healing and recovery for all family members. We want to help the entire family to heal and thrive.
Once every month we offer family and loved ones the opportunity to participate in our 2-day long Family Workshop. This weekend-long experience seeks to include family members and loved ones in the recovery journey and provides the opportunity for families to learn more about mental illness, addiction, and recovery. We understand the challenges of loving someone who has an addiction or mental illness and our caring staff is ready to help.
When you call our friendly staff we will listen why you tell us what led you to contact us.
During the conversation one of our admissions counselors will ask you questions about your specific circumstances in an effort to help determine whether Blue Ridge is the best place for you to begin your recovery. Like every part of our program, our admissions process is aimed at discovering who you are as an individual as well as to gather information about your substance related difficulties. In addition to the history of your addiction and any treatment you may have had in the past, we will also want to know about your living situation and what your social support network is like – including family members, significant others, friends, and support you may have through school or work.
Upon admission to the facility, the client is then evaluated by our medical team, and if warranted, placed in either our Alcohol and Drug Detoxification Program or directly into our Alcohol and Drug Residential Treatment Program. Shortly after entering the Alcohol and Drug Residential Treatment Program, each client meets with a Licensed Counselor who provides a more in-depth clinical assessment. These assessments form the basis of the client's individualized addiction treatment plan.
Our admissions staff is here 24/7 to take your call. Everything you discuss with us will remain strictly confidential
