Action House is a 12 step centric sober living home for men who are serious about their recovery. Our focus is to provide a safe, comfortable, sober environment which structured living and oversite, so that the action of the participants builds and develops their social, work, and spiritual lives within God's will. Action House, strives to create a positive learning atmosphere for individuals seeking a post addiction treatment sober living environment.
Our guidelines for living, help each participant navigate their way to a new way of life that involves gaining the tools for living life, learning and practicing healthy self discipline, and regaining independence.
Treatment and Philosophy
The philosophy of Action House Management and staff is not just based upon the literal 12 steps, but the precisely outlined directions provided by the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Prior to deciding upon living with Into Action, it is important to understand that the program outlined by the Big Book is one of rigorous action and that resting on your laurels will not be an option. Review this CenterYou dont have to hit rock bottom before you invest in yourself with a solid program/platform such as Into Action ….but if you do definitely get Into Action! Brian is a straight shooter that will still work with you if you’re committed to betterment and the house manager Joe is a living testimony of what a strong, humble and caring man and leader is supposed to be. The rest is up to you/me/us . The meeting structure is something that takes adjustment and working overnights is not a thing but it works if you work it. Clean house , caring and supportive guys.
Great place to live if you are truly serious about getting sober and staying sober, owner and manager are wonderful people who have hearts, Joe and Brian will hold you accountable, but the help they offer is far greater. People in the home are great, it’s like a big family, weekly miso you’re always in the loop with what’s going on. Truly an amazing program, you will definitely come out great if you come through here!!!!
