North Tampa Behavioral Health is a new private inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment facility, catering to the needs of the Tampa area community. Private rooms available.
Our treatment center offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and co-occurring treatment, including a Partial Hospital Program and an Intensive Outpatient Program to adults and seniors, age 18 and up.
Located in Wesley Chapel, Florida our beautiful campus provides the perfect environment that allows each one of our patients the opportunity to heal without the influence of outside daily stressors.
In order to achieve our goal of offering specialized treatment for each of our patients' specific needs, we have a number of special programs and levels of care.
Our inpatient program is for both adults and seniors in need of mental health and substance abuse treatment. The goal of this treatment track is to provide tailored treatment that sets the stage for lifelong recovery. Through our inpatient program adults and seniors who need 24 hour care and support, begin upon a path of healing for their struggles in a safe, controlled environment, away from the stressors of everyday life. Our staff, composed of doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff will be behind you every step of the way. You'll work closely with your care team to develop a plan for your stay with us that includes achievable goals and we will constantly reevaluate your progress to ensure that your objectives for treatment are being met. In addition to individual and family therapy, during your inpatient stay, you will have the opportunity to meet others who are struggling with similar challenges during group and recreational therapies. Bonding with others facing related struggles will afford you all the opportunity to support each other during your journey. As your time for discharge approaches, you'll meet with our discharge team to determine the next best steps for your recovery.
In addition to our inpatient program we offer several options for outpatient therapy. Traditional outpatient therapy includes a frequency of meetings with an outpatient therapist who can coordinate with other providers to ensure each client remains successful in his or her recovery. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) are two options for those stepping down from inpatient therapy. Both programs offer group, individual, and family therapy throughout the day, and vary only in the days of the week and hours of the day in which a client participates. Our IOP and PHP programs allow clients the ability to return home for part of the day, which gives a more gradual reintroduction to their home life. The outpatient therapy programs at North Tampa will be able to meet the needs of our clients in the ways in which they will be most beneficial and can help those in any stage of the recovery process.
North Tampa recognizes the importance of including family members and loved ones in your recovery and as such they are strongly encouraged to be involved throughout the entire treatment process.
An initial family consultation session will attempt to address any family dynamic issues associated with your disorder so that you can work toward restoring a healthy, happy home environment. Additionally, family sessions will focus upon the ways in which your disorder or addiction has impacted your loved ones, teach them coping skills, and helping them learn more about your presenting concerns so that they can be more supportive during the recovery process. Finally, we pride ourselves on our connections within the community and ability to link both family members and patients with a variety of community resources that we feel will be beneficial to them.
When you call our professionally qualified intake specialists they will start the intake process by asking you a series of questions about the specific concerns you are currently struggling with and any past mental health treatment.
These questions will help us to ascertain if North Tampa Behavioral Health can appropriately treat your mental health needs. Our intake coordinators will work closely with your loved ones to make certain they are also involved in all aspects of your recovery. We will do what we can to alleviate any fears you may have, answer your questions openly and honestly, and help guide you into making the most important decision of your life.
At North Tampa, we believe that in order to receive the most effective treatment for your mental health and addiction struggles that you need to be treated as a whole individual.
