Highlights:
Sierra Tucson's holistic, thorough, and integrated approach to treatment provides expertise for a wide range of specific and coexisting disorders:
The Family Rehabilitation Program is a hallmark of Sierra Tucson's successful addiction treatment. This dynamic four-day Family Program is included with each person's treatment to enhance long-term recovery and extend healing to the family. Invited family members are given the opportunity to participate in therapy, face their own issues, and work toward resolution. A Children's Program provides age-appropriate activities for family members 7 – 17 years of age. Young people begin to understand and emotionally process the turmoil they have experienced and learn new life skills. A Couple's Workshop gives couples in the Family Program an opportunity to receive educational and therapeutic support for recovery. After this educational, healing experience, the family is uniquely prepared for new growth and healthy support of the primary patient's recovery process.
The 12-Step philosophy is utilized as a basis for the treatment programs at Sierra Tucson, and individuals are encouraged to use the 12-Step principles in their recovery. Twelve-Step meetings are held on campus, and patients may attend off-campus meetings, as well.
