More about Chemical Dependency Crisis Center (CDCC)

BRC’s Chemical Dependency Crisis Center (CDCC) provides 32 beds of supportive inpatient and residential substance abuse services for homeless men and women, offering detoxification, medication assisted treatment, evidence based practices, individual and group counseling, medical and psychiatric support, didactic health and substance abuse education, and therapeutic activities.

Thousands of homeless men and women come to CDCC each year seeking seeking recovery from substance use disorders.

Treatment and Philosophy

"We see ourselves not just as the first step for many clients, but part of the ongoing process of ensuring clients have the support they need to end their cycles of homelessness and remain in recovery as they define it." - Kelly, Program Director at CDCC

CDCC is BRC's front door to thousands of homeless men and women who come to us each year seeking health and self-sufficiency. Our open-door policy enables us to serve those who have nowhere else to go.

Unlike hospital-based or private for-profit programs, which present serious barriers for clients with severe mental illness, CDCC accepts those in need regardless of their situational challenges.
