Imagine a New Beginning...
Twelve Oaks is a private, free-standing, 102 bed, alcohol & drug treatment center located in Navarre on the Florida Panhandle. The five-acre campus borders a sandy beach and provides a serene setting for its distinctive treatment programs.
We specialize in treating a full spectrum of alcohol and drug addictions as well as dual-diagnosis disorders. We incorporate a multi-disciplinary drug & alcoholism treatment approach, and individual rehabilitation programs are designed based on the specific needs of each patient.
Twelve Oaks Recovery Center provides a supportive environment that will assist you as you learn a new way to live, free from the bonds of addiction. Individuals affected by drug addiction and alcoholism know that their life is out of control, and that addiction has rendered them unable to maintain control over mood-altering substances. They have become victims of a compulsive disorder and an uncontrollable dependency on chemicals which inevitably destroys their lives.
We provide comprehensive treatment for drug addiction and alcoholism to adults and adolescents ages 13-17 (Project Excel).
In conjunction with the Twelve Oaks Treatment Program for Addiction, the ASPIRE program at Twelve Oaks treats those individuals who are seeking relief from the dual impact of substance abuse and traumatic experiences.
Twelve Oaks and Project Excel are licensed by the State of Florida - Department of Children and Families, Tricare certified and nationally accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).

At Twelve Oaks, our treatment philosophy is based upon the understanding that alcoholism, drug addiction and other forms of chemical dependency are treatable diseases with complex physical, behavioral, psychological, social and spiritual components.
This understanding is accompanied by the belief that successful recovery results from making many changes – and that our dedicated and experienced treatment professionals are uniquely prepared to guide clients through the transformations that will allow them to pursue happier, healthier and more productive futures.
Among the comprehensive addiction recovery services offered at Twelve Oaks are concerted efforts to help our clients develop self-esteem, establish and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships, enhance family interactions, improve vocational productivity, create realistic life goals and make healthy lifestyle adjustments.
Where Family Healing Begins...
At Twelve Oaks, we know that addiction affects the entire family. For the family and the addicted family member, life begins to deteriorate as social relationships weaken, children are neglected or abused, jobs are in jeopardy or are lost, finances are in disarray, and in some cases, hospitalization or legal problems occur. Addiction becomes a reality when the use of alcohol or other drugs interferes with the person's health, family, job or social life—when one or more aspects of life become unmanageable as a result of chemical dependency. However, effective drug rehabilitation and alcohol treatment is available for both the addict and their family.
The family program is focused on educating family and friends, supporting the individual's recovery in the addiction and recovery process as well as what they can do to support the recovery process. Family sessions can be arranged as well. Time to visit is included to learn about the changes the individual is making.
12-Step principles and 12-Step meetings are integral components of our comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment programs. We provide information about AA with the intention of helping clients develop a sober support system that represents a philosophy and structure that will work for them.
