Even those people who lack good private health insurance can get help and at a price they can afford. They may not get silk sheets and a daily massage, but at one of the many charity or non profit rehabs offering free or very affordable care, they will get what they need to beat drug addiction or alcoholism.
In addition to charity free drug rehabs, the state also provides some subsidized funding for drug and alcohol treatment, and you may be eligible for this treatment, even if you do not qualify for Medicaid.
