A non-profit drug and alcohol rehab program for pregnant women and women with children. Fees are assessed on an ability to pay basis. Children up to 12 years of age live-in with their mothers during the 3 months residential treatment program.
Arkansas CARES stands for Arkansas Center for Addictions Research, Education and Services. The 3-month treatment program for pregnant women or mothers with children 12 years old or younger provides a family-centered approach to decrease maternal substance abuse and promote healthy family outcomes through prevention, treatment education, research and advocacy. Substance abuse and mental illness are treated simultaneously, with the goal of keeping families united during and after treatment.
